This unique butter dish is made from white stoneware clay. Hand thrown on the wheel and glazed by hand. The soft turquoise glaze breaks beautifully on the dome. The plate is a soft, pale white with a slight pinkish tinge.
The plate is 15cm diameter and the dome is 11cm high. It would hold half a pack of butter at a time or a chunk of cheese.
Please note the circumference of the dome at its widest part is a little irregular. This is due to the firing process. It sits nicely on the plate, but do be aware in case you prefer perfection.
